Requirements:

• 1–3 years of experience in VAT compliance, accounting, or finance-related processes
• Basic understanding of VAT principles, including EU VAT regulations
• Good command of MS Excel (data analysis, reconciliations, pivot tables, lookups)
• Experience in working with financial and transactional data
• Knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data processing
• Very good command of English (minimum B2)
• Polish is required (minimum B2) - essential for client communication purposes
• Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, international environment

Responsibilities:

• Preparing VAT returns, EC Sales Lists, Intrastat declarations, and other tax reports
• Performing VAT account reconciliations and identifying and resolving discrepancies
• Analyzing transactional data (AP, AR, GL) to ensure VAT accuracy and compliance
• Supporting VAT payments, refunds, and correction processes
• Monitoring tax deadlines and maintaining tax calendars
• Supporting tax audits and preparing responses to tax authority inquiries
• Identifying opportunities for process improvements and automation
• Preparing and maintaining process documentation (SOPs, controls, work instructions)
• Cooperating with internal teams (AP, GL, Controlling) and external clients
• Participating in tax-related projects, transitions, and process migrations
