Requirements:
- 3-6 years of experience in accounting
- Experience in German accounting
- Good knowledge of German GAAP
- German min. C1 (essential for client communication purposes)
- English min C1
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
- Strong communication skills with high stakeholder impact
- Flexibility and readiness to handle ad-hoc tasks, including overtime when required
- Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA
- Willingness to travel for up to 1 month (transition from German entity)
Responsibilities:
- Group and statutory accounting
- Support for month-end closing and consolidation processes
- Handling IFRS and group accounting topics
- Intercompany transactions and group reconciliations
- Group controls, GAM compliance, audit support, and J-SOX activities
- Maintenance of local books in accordance with German GAAP
- Preparation of period-end statutory adjustments and provisions
- Support in the preparation of statutory financial statements (Balance Sheet and P&L)
